Of São Toméan descent and born in Portugal, DJ Marfox is a pioneer of 21st-century Afro-Portuguese music and a key figure in Lisbon’s urban landscape. He released DJs do Guetto Vol. 1 in 2006 and the EP Eu Sei Quem Sou in 2012 through Príncipe, which he co-founded. Performing across Europe, America, Africa, and Asia, he remains one of Lisbon’s most influential electronic artists.
