OVER THREE DAYS, PARQUE DA BELA VISTA BECAME THE EPICENTER OF A FESTIVAL FOR ALL GENERATIONS
MEO Kalorama 2025 took place on June 19, 20, and 21, kicking off the summer for all music lovers. Over three days, Parque da Bela Vista became a stage for music for all generations. Pet Shop Boys and The Flaming Lips brought color to the MEO Stage, FKA twigs and Scissor Sisters gave the order to dance, and Damiano David made his solo debut in Portugal with an electrifying concert that felt like a reunion. L’Impératrice, Sevdaliza, Róisín Murphy, Jorja Smith, and Royel Otis were also highlights of a festival where art and sustainability remained ever-present themes.
Damiano David made his solo debut in Portugal with an intense concert that felt like a reunion and left everyone at Parque da Bela Vista wanting more.

In a show that blended music, dance, and performance art, FKA twigs delivered a one-of-a-kind concert that was among the most applauded of this year’s festival edition.

Pet Shop Boys were behind one of the festival’s biggest crowds, bringing together an audience of all ages at Parque da Bela Vista for an unforgettable performance.

Scissor Sisters got the entire crowd dancing to tracks like “Filthy/Gorgeous,” “I Can’t Decide,” and “I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’,” in a concert where the visual art created by the Openfield collective, curated by Eterno, took center stage.

The PANORAMA LISBOA stage turned the most beautiful clearing of Parque da Bela Vista into a true dancefloor, keeping the energy high from the moment the gates opened until the end of the night.

The MEO Stage has never been as colorful as during The Flaming Lips‘ show, which was a true celebration of the band’s career in perfect communion with their fans.

The visual art for the San Miguel Stage was led by Malibu Ninja, Lisbon-based artists who accepted the creative challenge from Underdogs.

The crowd filled Parque da Bela Vista and made MEO Kalorama the most beautiful festival of the summer.

Sustainability and accessibility remained central pillars of the festival, which this year reinforced its commitment through several initiatives. These included audio description and Portuguese Sign Language at MEO Stage shows, a quiet room for neurodivergent people, adapted shuttle transport, a wheelchair repair workshop, a team of companions for solo attendees, and the replacement of fossil fuels with HVO throughout the festival’s technical operations.

Another chapter was written in the love story between L’Impératrice and the Portuguese audience, whose bond grows stronger with every encounter.

Jorja Smith charmed the crowd with her R&B, winning over the MEO Stage audience who had been waiting for her performance since the gates opened.

MEO Kalorama thanks all the audience, artists, partners, and press. Over three beautiful days, we built yet another edition of the festival together, in the idyllic setting of Parque da Bela Vista.
