If we believe that “Obama Era Indie Music” is really a thing, then Unknown Mortal Orchestra are definitely one of its last children. Since 2011, Ruban Nielson has moved between indie rock and psychedelia under the pseudonym Unknown Mortal Orchestra — UMO for friends — an experience that reached its peak in 2015 with the release of Multi-Love. Home to the singles “Multi-Love,” “Necessary Evil,” and “Can’t Keep Checking My Phone,” the third UMO album arrived at the right place at the right time and built a fanbase that lasts to this day. At MEO KALORAMA, newer tracks like “Hunnybee” and “That Life” won’t be forgotten, in a reunion with the Portuguese audience that promises to be perfect.
