Clipse is a supergroup (sort of). The hip-hop duo launched the musical careers of brothers Gene “Malice” and Terrence “Pusha T” Thornton, who formed Clipse in 1994 after moving from the Bronx, New York to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Active consistently until 2010, the group returned this year with the release of Let Gos Sort Em Out. Produced by Pharrell Williams and featuring collaborations from John Legend, Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, The Creator, it is — as expected — one of this year’s nominees for “Rap Album of the Year” at the GRAMMY Awards.
