Heartworms

British music has been dominated in recent years by a wave of post-punk that rivals the best ever produced in the world of distorted guitars. Among the many artists now regularly featured on summer festival lineups worldwide, Heartworms offer something truly unique. The project of Josephine Orme—a singer with Afghan and Pakistani heritage on her father’s side and Danish and Chinese roots on her mother’s—boasts production by Dan Carey and took critics by surprise with Glutton For Punishment, her debut album released in February this year, which earned a 5/5 rating from NME. In June, she makes her debut in Portugal at MEO KALORAMA.
