Between art installations, a showcase by The Black Mamba, and DJ sets, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the city of Lisbon and the MEO Kalorama spirit for free in the lead-up to the festival, which takes place on June 19, 20, and 21.<\/p>\n

LISBOA \u2013 A GREEN CITY,<\/strong> a piece by artist Mafalda Gon\u00e7alves created as part of MEO KALORAMA ON TOURand curated by Underdogs, will be the most visible aerial art intervention in Lisbon<\/strong> and will be unveiled on May 23 at Parque da Bela Vista.<\/p>\n

Counting down to its fourth edition, MEO KALORAMA celebrates Art, Sustainability, and Music with three free events across Lisbon as part of MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR.<\/p>\n

ART AT BELA VISTA: LISBOA \u2013 A GREEN CITY<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LISBOA \u2013 A GREEN CITY<\/strong> aims to highlight the sustainable and ecological character of Lisbon through a large-scale painting\u2014spanning more than 2,500 square meters\u2014that will be visible from the sky. This piece will serve as a true welcome postcard for everyone arriving in the city by plane, reinforcing Lisbon\u2019s reputation as a “Green City.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Curated by Underdogs<\/strong>, the work is an artistic intervention by Mafalda Gon\u00e7alves<\/strong>, an artist known for her figurative approach and vibrant primary color palette. Her reinterpretations of public spaces often serve as the starting point for her creative process.<\/p>\n

On May 23, between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM<\/strong>, MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR<\/strong> will inaugurate what will become Lisbon\u2019s most visible aerial artwork.<\/p>\n

Blending music, art, and sustainability<\/strong>, the moment will also feature a special showcase by The Black Mamba<\/strong>, who continue to explore the world of Last Night in Amsterdam<\/em>, their 2023 album. This month they released the single \u201cCornerstone,\u201d<\/em> a new B-side that deepens their emotional and aesthetic ties to Amsterdam\u2014and fans will be able to hear it live this Friday.<\/p>\n

On May 29, from 6 PM to 10 PM<\/strong>, MEO KALORAMA<\/strong> heads to Corner<\/strong>, one of Lisbon\u2019s busiest kiosks and a daily meeting spot for hundreds of locals, for a laid-back afternoon of music and community.<\/p>\n

Once again stepping outside the festival grounds of Parque da Bela Vista<\/strong>, the event features two DJ sets in one of the city\u2019s most iconic new hangouts, underlining the festival\u2019s connection to Lisbon and its people.<\/p>\n

Curated by MEO KALORAMA<\/strong>, the music will be delivered by R\u00faben da Cruz<\/strong> and Ari Gir\u00e4o<\/strong>, two key figures in Lisbon\u2019s nightlife.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The final event of MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR<\/strong> takes place at El Corte Ingl\u00e9s<\/strong>, one of the festival\u2019s official partners.<\/p>\n

On June 5, from 6 PM to 10 PM<\/strong>, Yen Sung<\/strong> and Kierastoboy<\/strong> take over a pop-up DJ booth at El Corte Ingl\u00e9s for a sunset session that celebrates the festival\u2019s pillars. The event will also feature live painting by Pitanga<\/strong>, a Lisbon-based artist curated by Underdogs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Yen Sung<\/strong>\u2014one of the first female DJs in Portugal, resident at Lux Fr\u00e1gil, and an international presence since the ’90s\u2014will bring a cohesive yet eclectic set with deep cuts across house, techno, hip hop, and reggae.<\/p>\n

Kierastoboy<\/strong>, who\u2019s also performing this year on MEO KALORAMA\u2019s PANORAMA LISBOA<\/em> stage, is a DJ and radio host, and a key name in Lisbon\u2019s emerging electronic scene.<\/p>\n
