The 5th edition of MEO KALORAMA will be a moment of celebration for all music lovers. On August 28, 29 and 30, the festival returns to Parque da Bela Vista for a reunion with Lisbon filled with Music, Art and Sustainability, in what will be the highlight of the summer for all Portuguese people.

With an eclectic lineup focused on diversity and representation, MEO KALORAMA also renews its work with the community, strengthening its commitment to the environment, inclusion and the city of Lisbon.

Robbie Williams, Deftones, Turnstile, Clipse, Interpol, Ravyn Lenae, Violent Femmes, Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Melody’s Echo Chamber, High Vis, Wednesday, Mind Enterprises, Joshua Idehen, Panic Shack, Pelados, Raquel Martins, Travo and Tyler Ballgame are the first confirmations of a lineup that will bring many more surprises and positions MEO KALORAMA as one of the most diverse and exciting festivals of the summer.

In August, Parque da Bela Vista will host one of the greatest fulfilled promises of British pop. Robbie Williams brings to MEO KAL a collection of hits that span several generations and will fill the MEO Stage, with the entire audience singing at the top of their lungs.

Deftones are also a unique success story. Pioneers of nu-metal in the ’90s, they released private music this year, an album that catapulted the American band into what is now the strongest phase of their career after being rediscovered by a new generation of fans who embraced them as their own.

Turnstile are bigger than any label critics try to place on them. In 2021, they took a bold leap and released GLOW ON, the record that turned hardcore culture into a mainstream phenomenon and propelled the Baltimore band to new heights. Today, they are one of the most celebrated guitar acts of their time, owners of several anthems whose messages speak directly to a new generation that sings at every show, at full volume: “I want to thank you for letting me be myself.”

CLIPSE were a supergroup before the term even existed. The hip-hop duo that launched the musical careers of brothers Gene “Malice” and Terrence “Pusha T” Thorton returned this year with Let God Sort ‘Em Out. Produced by Pharrell Williams, the album includes collaborations with John Legend, Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, The Creator, and, as expected, is nominated for “Rap Album of the Year” at this year’s GRAMMY Awards.

Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist need no introduction either. Heavyweights of contemporary hip hop and masters at turning collaborations into classics, they released Alfredo 2 this July, the highly anticipated follow-up to their 2020 joint album. The record reaffirms the unique chemistry between Gibbs’ razor-sharp lyricism and Alchemist’s elegant, cinematic production. Together, they bring this new chapter to Lisbon for an unmissable performance at MEO KALORAMA.

With Interpol, we travel to New York, birthplace of the early-2000s indie-rock revival, led by Paul Banks’ band, whose influence continues to resonate today. Turn On The Bright Lights and Antics remain two of the most celebrated records of that era and will surely be part of a setlist that promises to be unforgettable.

With a singular voice, Ravyn Lenae is a rising pop star responsible for one of today’s biggest hits — “Love Me Not” — which has brought global attention to her talent. After touring with SZA and Noname, Ravyn finally makes her Portugal debut.

“Let me go on, like a blister in the sun” is the opening line of a chorus that has crossed generations. This sunny, carefree melody is one of the highlights of Violent Femmes’ self-titled debut, an album that helped define folk rock as a genre. Pillars of American alternative rock, the Wisconsin band returns to Portugal for a joyful, celebratory show.

If “Obama-Era Indie Music” is indeed a thing, Unknown Mortal Orchestra are definitely among its brightest children. In 2015, they reached new heights with Multi-Love, home to singles like “Multi-Love,” “Necessary Evil” and “Can’t Keep Checking My Phone.” At MEO KALORAMA, recent tracks such as “Hunnybee” and “That Life” will also take the stage in a reunion with the Portuguese audience that promises to be flawless.

Melody’s Echo Chamber is another example of pure pop experimentalism. Her self-titled debut opened the door to a career that has always avoided the obvious. In Portugal, Melody Prochet will present the brand-new Unclouded, marking her first concert in the country in more than 10 years. We couldn’t be more excited.

Good things take time, and High Vis prove exactly that. Active since 2016, the British band is now receiving the recognition they always deserved. Mixing indie rock, post-punk and dance music, their sound places them among the most exciting contemporary rock acts.

Across the ocean, alt-country is back, and Wednesday are among its leading forces. Frontwoman and songwriter Karly Hartzman crafts songs as beautiful as they are challenging, painting contemporary American life with striking clarity. This year’s Bleeds is proof of that and, according to Pitchfork, the best rock album of 2025.

Joining this wave of names are also Mind Enterprises, an italo-disco duo; Joshua Idehen, a poet and musician with an unmistakable voice; Panic Shack, straight-to-the-point garage rock from Wales; Pelados, masters of lo-fi from São Paulo; Tyler Ballgame, who moves between funk and pop with contagious energy; and the Portuguese projects Travo and Raquel Martins.

Since 2022, the festival has been establishing itself as the biggest summer festival in the city of Lisbon, taking over one of the capital’s most beautiful parks each year for a celebration that brings together Music, Art, and Sustainability.

In 2026, the 5th edition of MEO Kalorama takes place on the last weekend of August — the 28th, 29th, and 30th — once again marking the end of summer and the return to routine for all music lovers.

The first confirmations will be announced on December 10, the same day the festival’s ticket office opens. However, starting today, it is already possible to register for a waiting list that will provide access to the full festival pass at an exclusive price.

As part of MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR—an initiative by MEO KALORAMA that builds anticipation for the festival through a series of free events across Lisbon—the installation LISBON – A GREEN CITY was inaugurated last Friday.

Curated by Underdogs and conceived from scratch by Mafalda Gonçalves, a Lisbon-based artist known for her figurative approach and use of vibrant primary color palettes to reinterpret the spaces she works in, LISBON – A GREEN CITY is a tribute to the city and its sustainable, ecological spirit.

Painted directly onto the ground, this large-scale artwork revitalizes an otherwise nondescript area of Parque da Bela Vista, covering more than 2,500 square meters, and is now the art installation with the greatest aerial visibility in Lisbon. Featuring colors and elements closely tied to the capital—such as its iconic light, the river, and traditional Portuguese pavement—LISBON – A GREEN CITY celebrates Lisbon’s recognition as a “Green City” and welcomes those arriving by plane, as it lies beneath one of the city’s main flight paths.

The inauguration was attended by Rui Cordeiro, Councillor of the Lisbon City Council; Margarida Mata, curator at Underdogs; Diogo Marques, Director at Last Tour Portugal; and included a showcase by The Black Mamba, who performed in front of the artwork for the hundreds who gathered at Parque da Bela Vista.

Between art installations, a showcase by The Black Mamba, and DJ sets, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the city of Lisbon and the MEO Kalorama spirit for free in the lead-up to the festival, which takes place on June 19, 20, and 21.

LISBOA – A GREEN CITY, a piece by artist Mafalda Gonçalves created as part of MEO KALORAMA ON TOURand curated by Underdogs, will be the most visible aerial art intervention in Lisbon and will be unveiled on May 23 at Parque da Bela Vista.

In 2025, MEO KALORAMA continues to build its lineup around diversity, representation, and inclusion. The newly announced acts for the festival’s fourth edition include a mix of international rising stars, national artists elevating Portuguese music to new heights, and an expanded electronic music offering at the PANORAMA LISBOA stage, which remains one of the festival’s key highlights.

Royel Otis, the Australian duo of Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic, have taken the world by storm with their album PRATTS & PAIN, featuring the viral hit Oysters In My Pocket, as well as their covers of Murder On The Dancefloor(Sophie Ellis-Bextor) and Linger (The Cranberries).

Sevdaliza seamlessly blends electronic music, R&B, trip-hop, and avant-pop. Since releasing her debut EP in 2015, she has become one of the most respected artists of her generation, collaborating with Grimes, Anitta, Yseult, and Pabllo Vittar. Her 2024 summer hit Alibi—a collaboration with Pabllo Vittar and Yseult—became her biggest success to date, amassing over 500 million streams.

Noga Erez pushes her creative boundaries in The Vandalist (2024), a genre-blending album that’s both experimental and infectious. The Israeli singer first made waves in 2017 with her debut Off The Radar, and she will finally make her Portugal debut at MEO KALORAMA.

The UK’s music scene has been dominated in recent years by a wave of post-punk artists, but Heartworms offer something truly unique. The project, led by Josephine Orme—whose heritage includes Afghan, Pakistani, Danish, and Chinese roots—has gained widespread acclaim, with their debut album Glutton For Punishment receiving a perfect 5/5 from NME. They will make their Portugal debut at MEO KALORAMA in June.

The ninth edition of the Iberian Festival Awards took place this past weekend at the Pavilhão Multiusos 25 de Abril in Almancil, in a gala celebrating the best festivals held across the Iberian Peninsula throughout 2024. In total, Last Tour and its festivals won four awards, recognizing their innovation and impact on the sector.
