Ana Lua Caiano explores musical fusion by combining traditional Portuguese music with electronic. She creates melodies that refer to tradition - making use of choirs, harmonies and canons - combined with synthesizers, beat-machines and sounds recorded from everyday life, performing in a "one woman show" format. She was considered a "revelation artist" in Portugal with her two EPs "Cheguei tarde a ontem" and "Se dançar é só depois".
